Book Description & Reviews

Fueled by revenge, driven by need. This mating season won't go down easy.

Rebel has one last thing to do before she can walk away from her life on Devils Point and the man she can't get out of her head. Find the shifter who hurt her sister. She'll have to work with Dante to make it happen and that might be the final straw that breaks her. Unless she can come up with an idea to get him out of her system. Like one night of no holds barred sex. Hot, dirty and thoroughly... Yeah, she definitely needs to get her mind out of the gutter.

Dante thought he was waiting for his mate. It's what they were taught and what every wolf yearns for. But this mating season brought him a different kind of woman. Curvy, feisty and downright wicked. She is also not his true mate and everyone thinks he should let her go. Too bad she's under his skin and he doesn't know what to do about it. Well...he actually does have some ideas about that.

Dante turned to the stage just in time to see Rebel removing her skirt and throwing it above her head.
His mouth went dry.

The thong she wore was as red as her hair and the gloss she wore on her lips.
He wanted to bite that scrap of silk off of her and bury his face between her thighs.

He closed his eyes and reached for a shred of sanity to keep from stalking to the stage and throwing her over his shoulder.

Mating season. That had to be why he couldn't stop thinking of touching her.

Unfortunately, he was also pissed at her. Thanks to her half-baked plan to serve as bait for the rogue that bit her sister.

"You are a glutton for punishment." His brother Diego walked up next to him.

"You think that's funny?"

"Fuck yeah. She makes you squirm."

"You're supposed to be helping me find our rogue not waste time giving me shit."

"I am an excellent multitasker."

"Where's Damien?" he asked.

"Where do you think?" Diego smirked.
Since turning his new mate, they'd spent every waking moment running or fucking.

"Any sign of our guy?"

"Just that one dude by the stage sitting in the shadows. His attention is fixated on Rebel, but he's fidgeting."
His brother had pointed out the same man he suspected.

"We really going to just let her walk out of here unprotected?" he asked.

"She won't be unprotected. Someone will have eyes on her the whole way."

"It only takes a second for this asshole to bite her. Not even the fastest wolf in our pack can stop that."

"She's not exactly a pushover."

"No match for a wolf."

Diego scoffed. "She has no problem taking you down."

"That's different." She'd grabbed his crotch and tried to neuter him. "She may not look like it, but she's vulnerable."

Diego turned. "She's determined. I agree that it's a dangerous thing for a human. But you know as well as I do that you have to let her. Otherwise, she'll never trust the pack and we can't live with that."

Dante tried to ignore his brother's logic.

"No, we can't have that," he admitted. There was no greater priority than keeping their existence a secret. "Any sign of the hunter?"

Diego shook his head.

Dante turned his attention back to the stage when he realized Rebel's music was beginning to fade. All he saw was the swing of her wicked red hair and the sway of bare hips...

"Don't worry. She's going to be fine."
